Choose FORMART 3 for larger packaging trays, prototypes and repeat batches that benefit from several sheet formats. Check the usable forming area rather than sheet size alone: clamping margins cannot form part of your finished tray. Allow space between molds, consider draw depth and draft, and plan how the part will release before heating a sheet.
A 3D printer can make a master; this machine forms a heated sheet over that master. It does not print, cut or automatically trim the finished part. Avoid trapping undercuts, test printed molds for heat and vacuum resistance, and keep a trimming/finishing step in your workflow. Reduced suction and forced demolding help the process but do not guarantee a damage-free master or finished part.
Use only suitable thermoforming sheets within the specified thickness and frame requirements. Test third-party materials with their supplier guidance rather than treating a stored preset as universal. Food-contact projects require suitable sheet certification and a clean process; the machine alone does not make every plastic food-safe.
Plan a stable bench with clearance for the raised heater and handle, ventilation appropriate to the material, and a suitable 120V electrical supply. Hot sheets and heating elements require supervision and the manufacturer’s operating precautions. Confirm the correct regional electrical version, complete frame set, starter materials and warranty before ordering.

Four: 19.75 x 12, 16.5 x 12, 12 x 12 and 12 x 8 inch, from 0.01 to 0.12 inch thick. MY YARD and third-party sheets both work.
Will it crush my 3D printed molds?
Use Low-pressure mode for fragile prints. Reduced suction can help, but test the mold's heat resistance and strength first.
What power does it need?
A 120 V AC outlet that can supply 1500 W.
How big and heavy is it?
It measures 18.9 x 26.4 x 29.9 inches including the handle and weighs 66 lb. Plan for a sturdy bench.

Free Shipping to the Lower 48 States
We offer free shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). Orders are delivered via FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, or UPS, depending on size and weight.
Curbside Delivery Only: Carriers will not deliver into your home, garage, or interior rooms. Please arrange for assistance if needed.
Order Cut-Off and Processing Time
- Order Cut-Off: Orders placed before 12:00 PM CST are processed the same business day

All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to be eligible for a replacement or refund.
